Job Description

The Restaurant Kitchen Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food preparation and service. They are a key leader in the kitchen, working closely with kitchen staff & the Kitchen Manager to maintain operational efficiency, quality control, and food safety standards. The Kitchen Service Supervisor plays an essential role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to guests by leading a motivated team, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate service.

• Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards

Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Safely change xenon lamps in 35mm and digital systems

• Repair and maintain various cinema AV equipment

• Complete any other tasks assigned by the Technical Manager

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of digital projection systems

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance

• Knowledge of digital cinema file types and distribution

• Basic IT technical skills and troubleshooting

• Experience with audio-visual systems (mixers, PA systems)

• Basic knowledge of video and audio cable types

• Comprehensive knowledge of 35mm projection systems is a plus

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of cinema audio systems

• Experience with organization suites like Google Docs and Airtable

• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

• Willingness to work unusual hours (evenings and weekends)
